About Dr Andrew Zischke and special interests
Dr Andrew Zischke graduated from the University of Queensland where he completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with first class honours. Dr Andrew has completed a large myriad of postgraduate seminars and courses both in Australia and overseas.
As an experienced Ipswich dentist with a high level of dedication in the fields of general, cosmetic and implant dentistry, Dr Andrew is passionate about helping his patients achieve a good looking, healthy smile. He has vast experience in private dental practice, having worked in Hervey Bay and Brisbane before joining Grange Road Dental in 2008 and purchasing the practice in 2014. With nearly 20 years serving the Ipswich community, Dr Andrew has built lasting relationships with local families across the region.
Dr Andrew has a particular interest in BioClear fillings and biomimetic crowns, offering patients modern, minimally invasive restorative options.
Dr Andrew's connection to the local Ipswich community extends back to when his family grew up and worked on dairy farms just outside of Ipswich and on small crops farms in the Lockyer Valley region.
Outside of dentistry
Outside of dentistry, Dr Andrew has a passion for music, in particular the cello. He regularly performs at recitals and with orchestras when he can, and is a member of the Australian Doctors Orchestra, which performs annually throughout Australia. All proceeds from Dr Andrew's recitals have been donated to The Cancer Council, Mater Children's Hospital Foundation and initiatives of Rotary.
Dr Andrew looks forward to time spent with his two boys, who are very active and into sports, particularly volleyball.
